- Hello, I am the Christian mom of 4 girls and the stepmom of 2 more that are grown. I have been married for almost 18 years to my best friend and my prince. I homeschool our 4 daughters which takes a good part of my day. My two older daughters are biological and the younger two are adopted from China and Guatemala. Adoption has opened my eyes to another layer of life, one that is near and dear to the heart of God. Afterall, He adopted me into His family and i am ever so thankful.

Fun time and MUCH better weather this time! woo hoo! The chocolate from S. Africa didn't hurt either--thanks Adeye! (Notice how she passed her chocolate on to us Lisa? I've always said never to trust a girlfriend who gives you chocolate-ha ha!) I'll take it though AND the wonderful friendships!!!

Glad it was such a beautiful fall day for your get together! Makes for a lovely Oct close post (though I'm sure I speak for all when I say I'd be glad to see other posts in the remaining week, especially with costumes to wear this weekend & all! ;-)
What a sweet day with special friends. It's amazing to see how much Nadia, Hailee, and Harper have changed in just a few months.
Such a blessing that you all have eachother for support and encouragement.

You did not!!!! Oh my goodness I am so jealous! The two of you awesome ladies together at one place- and I am stuck here in Texas!!! SO NOT FAIR!!! Looks like you had a blast- so I will just have to settle on being happy for you both (and still a whole lot jealous).
