Back from the Beach...

Hello Again! Does anyone still check my blog for new posts?
Our family has just returned from the coast. It was a fun and fast week. I really didn't want to come back to be honest. School starts in a week and I don't feel ready or able. How can summer almost be over???? Wasn't it just May 31st? OK, enough whining.
The beach was beautiful as always. A thousand little creatures to observe and waves to ride. We witnessed 3 weddings, believe it or not, as well as two men hopping up from their towels and calling their family members in from the surf (because they thought they saw fins).Did I mention that it was Shark Week on the Discovery Channel while we were there? (I think everyone was a bit jumpy.) I knew we had seen too much of it when Kate declared to me that the tide pool had a shark in it.
Anyway, we had the chance to take lots of photos which is so much fun. Friends asked us to photograph their family in the dunes and we loved the challenge and learning opportunity. Hopefully and prayerfully we got some shots that they will love.  And now for a few of my favorites from the week...

I check your blog hourly!!! So glad you posted again to make my efforts worthwhile! Great pictures, great times! Can't wait to do it again next year! Oh, that's right. Next year we're going to Boston to stay with Karin for 2 weeks. And you and I won't have to make meals for 2 whole weeks because we know how much Karin likes to cook! Yippee! VACATION FOR REAL!!!

Love ya!
Kristin

I love your beach shots!! The family photo is so cute--especially love how baby girl is touching her mama's hair. :)

I will start looking at recipes right now to be ready for your two week stay next year. Do you like Mac and cheese?

I check in, too! I love the new photo in your header as well as the precious pics of your gorgeous girls. The one of Kristin and her family is also amazing. Oh, I wish you could have taken photos of my family when we were at the beach. (You and Kristin have too much fun. We just might have to crash your vacation next year.)

I'm so glad you had such a special week with your family.

Blessings,
Kathie

Breathtaking pictures, my favorite is Kate with the crashing wave behind her, love the color contrast of the white wave and her beautiful coloring!! Yippee, looks like so much fun! Have you thought about 'travelling photography'? You may get many requests from people in different states (Me in PA) to come and photograph their families! :)

Ah, summer is coming to an end. But a new adventure will begin. Great beach photos. We were hoping to get a special family photo this year but it did not turn out to be the summer we have envisioned. Tomorrow is a new day. Lets get together soon!

Love the beach pictures! (looked like even a teenager couldn't be unhappy with the pose of the 2 girls on the dune; do wish there'd been one of Nadia smiling though the one of her looking down with the bly sky shows off her beautiful blue eyes, I do trust those eyes smiled for other shots or just off camera during her (I guess?) 1st beach trip!

Terribly confused about why 2 weeks in Boston with Karin cooking Mac & Cheese would cancel a repeat trip to the beach in 2011 though . . . ;-). Hope you, Ran & the girls get at least another long weekend at the beach this year, but if not, glad you had that great week!!

Hi (from Babycircus blog)!,

Thanks for your comment! I just wanted to respond, no we are not in the process of adoption. I know it's strange that I follow many adoption blogs. God has put adoption on my heart for over 2 years now- it's like I'm addicted to everything adoption. I know He has this in our future, but it's just not now. My health issues have to improve first. But someday hopefully I'll have a big, huge family...
