Our first snow for 2010! Started falling last night around 10:00pm and went all night long. We all awoke to a winter wonderland. Did I say early??? Hunter and Logan spent the night with a friend in the neighborhood so Randy and I just had the little girls last night. Even so , they didn't make it to bed before 10:00pm and Randy and I finally hit the hay at nearly 1:00am. Ugh!!! Then , because her girls were gone, Muffin (our dachshund) just could NOT get settled. She was in and out of our room, whining, pacing the hall and agitated ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Now 7:00am rolls around and Kate and Olivia are jumping on us ready for a snowball fight. UGH again!!! We sent them back to bed and tried to recover from our very active, sleepless night. Eventually we did make it out. It was a lot of fun. Quite cold and crunchy! We did it all...roasted marshmallows and hotdogs over an open fire, wonderful sledding , hot cocoa and snow cream. Hard night...great day!

How fun!!! I want to live near you so we can roast hot dogs and drink cocoa together!!! (Except I'd bring the Starbucks and let the kids have the cocoa). Glad you got some great pictures in the snow!!! We'll see how long it lasts.
Kristin
P.S. It's great to be back home!

Can you please tell me if that friend of yours has completely lost her mind???? LOL.
Okay---so lovely pics of the snow and all...BUT where the heck are YOU???? Huh????
waiting, waiting, waiting......
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new header photo!!! GORGEOUS! :)
How FUN that you got some snow! wooo!! :))
Kristin needs to get out more. Or maybe the adoption paperwork has made her loopy. :)
That has to be the same coat Daddy would break out for snow days when I was little. Is it?
Glad everyone stayed safe in the snow. I had to drive Ryan to the hospital bright and early Sunday morning! God has had His hands full keeping me safe on the roads this week!!
Um, what's with Kristin? :)
Glad ya'll had so much fun in the icey/ snowy blast!! (BTW, like the shot of Muffin "behind bars;" looks like she served a little jail time for her sleep depriving behavior the night the snow started!!)
